Yoga teacher,
kind words
This training was super! I highly recommend both Vics and Kathy for their knowledge on the body and the art of giving hands on assists. I learnt so much and came away feeling confident to actually offer assists in my classes which is a big thing for me!

the why
Hands-on adjustments are one of the most powerful ways to elevate a student’s experience of practice
They are not just about “correcting” a pose
They can improve proprioception, offer support and stability, regulate the nervous system, explore new expressions of movement, and build trust
And yet, with so many injuries reported from poorly applied assists, and a growing narrative online to avoid hands-on work altogether, we’re here to change the conversation
With intelligent anatomy, clear consent, and refined technique, touch becomes safe, empowering, and transformative
the what
This is not a training built around memorising adjustments for particular poses.
Instead, we teach you how to:
Read bodies in motion
Understand bio-individuality
Apply clear considerations to any pose, on any body
Each 15-hour anatomical journey offers a deeper, applied understanding of movement
So you can offer confident, mindful, and adaptable hands-on assists in real classes, with real humans

I’m truly delighted with this training! Kathy and Vics are brilliant teachers, explained everything so well and managed to keep us engaged for the whole time. We all had so much fun practicing together and I came out of it feeling like a more knowledgable and experienced teacher, like I had much more to offer to my students. Best training I’ve done since my initial YTT. Kathy & Vics made me feel at ease and instilled confidence from the word Go! Their extensive knowledge, coupled with their sense of personality and fun, made for an amazing weekend of learning and play. Because we were given so much time to practice over the weekend, I felt confident in applying my skills just a few days later in my next class!

The Science of Movement & The Art of Touch
15hr YA Certified Hands on Adjustments & Assists Teacher Training
Level 1 & Level 2
September & October 2026 at The Yoga Space, Woolwich
I really felt my confidence as a yoga teacher grow, thanks to this course. I trained exclusively online, so never learnt about assisting, and I discovered it was so much more than getting people into the "correct" positions. This is for you if you want to give your students an experience to remember
